Towel Monet, Zaans Museum Hollandsche Waaren
This towel is specially designed for the Zaans Museum, it matches the tea towel.
The Zaans Museum is located on the Zaanse Schans, a world famous part of Holland. As early as the nineteenth century, visitors and artists were drawn to this typically Dutch landscape of windmills and wooden houses. Claude Monet was also enthusiastic and made at least 25 paintings during his stay here. One of them was recently (2016) purchased by the Zaans Museum and this towel was specially designed based on it.
