Samlet Tiny Houses, Jurianne Matter
Samlet is a village of 12 very diverse houses: old, urban, rural, cozy and old, but also new and modern. They are real prefab houses: pre-punched, pre-scored, and the windows have already been broken out. Even the walls inside are already covered with wallpaper in a hip botanical black and white print. All you have to do as a house builder is glue the walls and the roofs together at the indicated place.
Finishing the village is a party in itself and then you can start sliding. Will it be a cozy lit village square on the table or a dead straight street on your windowsill? Do you string it into a garland or give one as a gift at a housewarming party?
December hint
Make the hottest Advent calendar ever: Buy 2 sets (= 24 houses) and number the houses with small round stickers (from, for example, the office supply store). You can then put a small gift or note in each house for each Advent day.
If you want to illuminate the houses, only use artificial lights or wire lighting, but never real tea lights because of the risk of fire.
