A family planner or weekly agenda is a must to keep an overview of appointments and activities in a busy family life. Play dates, study days, children's parties, school meetings, swimming lessons, eating at the neighbors. Our new notebook is more than just a weekly planner.
Multifunctional weekly planner
The notebook provides an overview and promotes teamwork in your family. You can use every page in different ways.
1. Family planner / weekly agenda
What should you do this week and do not forget? When is the sports training, the dentist appointment or the birthday party? Write down the names of all family members on the left and write down the activities each day.
2. Work schedule
Use the weekly planner to distribute chores. Write down the tasks on the left (such as cooking, clearing the table and giving pet food) and enter the names per day. You can not start early enough with that.
3. Parenting aid
Here you use the weekly planner to promote independence. Lubricate bread and practice piano to do homework and learn the tables or keys. Write down the name of your child at the top and the activities in the left column. Plan when something needs to be done and put a cross or stick a sticker if it is successful.
Under all days of the week there is room to write down the date or what you are going to eat that day. At the bottom is a box to write down things that you want to remember or want to do, but that are not really planned yet. Of those chores and ideas that you want to do somewhere that week, like buying a card, calling a plumber, renewing a passport, making dinner with friends or buying a present. Two more tips: Give the weekly planner a permanent place and also plan free time together.
With a pinch of talk
Together with Michal Janssen, the author of our journals, we also added a 'pinch of notes' to the weekly planner. At the bottom of each day you can evaluate that day with a simple choice question: What fits best with today? Busy or quiet. Sunny or gray. Happy or angry. Dreaming or talking. About why you can chat with your family members again.
The notepad has 52 identical pages, undated and glued on solid white cardboard.
