Parabola lamp, Floris Hovers, Cor Unum

The new lamp designed by Floris Hovers has -like many of his works- a distinct and recognizable shape.

The basic principle was to design a floor lamp to complement the permanent collection of COR UNUM.

During the making and design process, more and more ideas came up about this lamp, including the new hanging lamp.

This is also often the working method of Hovers, creating a basic plan and then allowing other applications and stories to arise around this basis.

In the part without a lamp there is room for something dear, a photo, object or the like, so that the lamp can also be used as a kind of chapel.
