Vase Luxje Matt - Anna green - M, Floris Meijer
Glass Museum Leerdam - Luxje
At the end of 2020, Floris, in collaboration with his education and the Glasmuseum Leerdam, was commissioned to design a vase for an exhibition, where Luxje created a small vase. The museum was very enthusiastic about the design and decided to produce the vase in a small edition. The vase is now available in several colors, including the matte glass versions in various colors, including this classic Leerdam color Mat Annagreen.
The name Luxje comes from Lux, a unit used to measure light. To do justice to the small and slightly larger flowers such as buttercups, daisies, blue grapes, violets and daffodils, the vase can be tumbled. This movement is derived from the wind that makes the flowers move when they are outside in nature among the grass.
